F.O.C.U.S on Skill Development
Fun-Optimize-Control-Utilize-Skill
At First Focus Archery, the emphasis is on continuous improvement. First Focus believes that every archer, regardless of their skill level, has the potential to reach new heights. With a keen eye for detail, we break down the mechanics of each shot, helping students understand the importance of form, technique, and mental focus. But it’s not just about teaching the fundamentals we also tailor instruction to meet each student’s individual needs, ensuring that they progress at their own pace while building on their strengths.
Motivating Through Challenges
The supportive environment students feel encourages them to push their limits, celebrate small victories, and learn from their mistakes. Archery instills a growth mindset in every student, emphasizing that perseverance and resilience are key to mastering the sport.
A Community of Archers
Under your Range Master's guidance, First Focus Archery has grown into more than just a training ground—it’s a community. Students not only improve their skills but also build lasting friendships and develop a sense of camaraderie. Whether preparing for Club, State, or National Tournaments, each archer knows they have the full support.
Beyond the Range
First Focus impact extends beyond the archery range. Through their instruction, students learn valuable life skills such as patience, discipline, and self-confidence. First Focus often reminds students that the lessons they learn in archery—like setting goals, staying focused, and overcoming challenges—apply to all areas of life.
Range Day Lessons & Equipment Recommendations
Equipment is not required to start or book Range Day lessons. However, as your child progresses in archery, I recommend getting them their own Genesis Original bow and a set of Easton 1820 arrows.
As a member of First Focus Archery, your equipment includes full-service maintenance to ensure your bow and arrows are in proper working order.
Tournaments & Qualifications
All archers are eligible to participate in Club, State, and National Tournaments. State qualifications begin after the winter break, with tournament dates to be determined. Additional fees will apply for national qualifiers, and these will be communicated as needed.
